Community, Connection, and the Heart of West Seattle
There’s something special about West Seattle that’s hard to put into words. It’s more than the sweeping views of the Sound, the ferries passing by, or even the vibrant local businesses that make our neighborhoods unique.
For me, West Seattle is a creative place I call HOME. A place where community comes alive. It’s the neighbor who brings over tea when you are not feeling well, the familiar faces you run into at local spots like Realfine Coffee or The Admiral Pub, and the artists and dreamers who bring creativity to every corner. It’s also the moments when we come together to care for one another, especially in challenging times.
Why Community Matters
The past few years have shown us just how much we need connection. And lately, I’ve been feeling a strong pull to lean even further into compassion and generosity, not just in my personal life, but in my work and the events I create.
As a real estate professional, my role goes far beyond buying and selling homes. It’s about bringing people together: connecting friends, neighbors, and local businesses in ways that make our community stronger. Whether that’s hosting a sunset cider night at Weather Watch Park, organizing fun gatherings like Sebastiano’s on the Beach, or simply making introductions between a small business owner and someone who needs their services, these connections are what truly fuel me.
Building Solutions Through Care
In a world that often feels divided, I believe one of the most powerful solutions is to show up with compassion. When we gather with open hearts, we create a ripple effect of generosity that lifts everyone. That might look like sharing a meal, supporting a local business, or raising money for a cause like the West Seattle Homeless Shelter.
Events like Sebastiano’s (and Friends) on the Beach are about more than great wine and food (though there’s plenty of that!). They’re about celebrating the beauty of West Seattle while giving back to the community that gives so much to us.
Looking Ahead
As I move into new work chapters and focus on community involvement I am centering myself on, connection, generosity, and creativity. My vision is to continue building spaces, both literal and figurative, where people can come together, share stories, and create lasting change.
West Seattle and other communities I have been a part of have taught me that a neighborhood is only as strong as the care we show for one another. Together, we can make this place even more vibrant, resilient, and welcoming.
Here’s to more shared sunsets, more connections, and more compassion in the days ahead.
